We explored the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park and checked out the zoo. The large rooms were comfy, and the hot breakfast every morning fueled our adventures. Scott at the front desk was super helpful with recommendations. The area has great restaurants too!
Just a heads up, there are active railroad tracks right behind the hotel, and it can get a bit noisy at times.

missingWrote a review on 11 Augspacious suiteconvenient laundrymaintenance issues
Spacious family suite with integrated kitchenette facilities great for extended stays. Convenient laundry services help keep things fresh during a longer trip.
The rooms could use updates, especially concerning the AC systems, as ours struggled to cool effectively. Maintenance issues arose with a broken door handle, which got fixed eventually, but it shouldn’t have been a hassle in the first place. While the open land behind the hotel offers great pet-friendly space, it unfortunately comes with animal odors that linger—not ideal for those sensitive to such smells. On top of that, the cleanliness fell short. the bathroom showing signs of quick fixes with plaster repairs using bubble gum and tape certainly doesn’t inspire confidence. Parking also presents a challenge—tight spaces make it a puzzle for larger vehicles.

comfortable stay with excellent staff
The staff members went out of their way to assist us during our seven-night stay. From the warm greetings of McKenzie at the front desk to the attentive service of the ladies managing breakfast, we felt well taken care of.
The mountain view was beautiful, but the noise from nearby traffic can be distracting at times.

We had an amazing family getaway and loved visiting the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park nearby. The room was spacious, clean, and the beds were so comfortable, making our nights restful.
My wife says that the bathroom could have used more space for families with kids. An update to the bathroom facilities would be great for a better experience.

The experience was highlighted by the exceptional staff, particularly Scott and Rachel, who ensured that every need was met with care and attention. The room was very clean and comfortable, making it a perfect base for our outings to the nearby Air Force Academy and local dining options. On a minor downside, the active railroad tracks behind the hotel were noticeable at times, and the cable TV connection occasionally froze, but these did not significantly detract from our enjoyable stay.
